COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Matt McGloin's poise, Michael Mauti's shoulder and Penn State's season were in various stages of disarray Saturday night when the Nittany Lions dragged their tired and beaten bodies out of Ohio Stadium.

Penn State (6-4, 3-3) had momentum, a plan and the lead throughout most of the first half, but lost all three after halftime in a 38-14 loss to No. 8 Ohio State (9-1, 5-1) at Ohio Stadium.
