Penn State's Russ Rose was named Division I National Women's Volleyball Coach of the Year on Thursday. It was the second straight year he has earned the honor from the American Volleyball Coaches Association. No other coach has ever won the award two consecutive years.
On Wednesday, six Penn State players were named either first- team or second-team All-America, an NCAA record.
