Pennsylvania Says Legal Video Poker Could Defray Tuition Costs

HARRISBURG -- Acting state Revenue Secretary Steve Stetler said today that money from legalizing video poker could be used to help defray tuition costs at state-owned universities.

Legalizing video poker machines would yield about $550 million per year through license fees and taxing the profits, he said.
