Pens' Biggest Concern Could Be Fat Heads

Summary


There has not been this much excitement for the start of a Penguins season since after their two Stanley Cup championships, and maybe not even at those times. Not only do they have a terrific lineup of young stars, but the team's future in Pittsburgh never has been more secure than with the signing of the lease for the new arena.

Other than injuries, perhaps the biggest worry is the fat-head syndrome. Several people close to the team have surprisingly mentioned to me in the past week that they worry the young guys have come too far, too fast and could forget how hard they had to work to get there.
