Summary
Penguins left wing Gary Roberts missed a third consecutive game Sunday due to a mild case of pneumonia. Roberts practiced Saturday for the fist time since being diagnosed with his illness prior to Game 3 of the Eastern Conference. He hopes to be available for the Stanley Cup final. Roberts missed five games previously in the playoffs due to a groin injury.
Aside from Roberts, the Penguins scratched the following players: forwards Kris Beech and Jeff Taffe, defenseman Darryl Sydor and goaltender Dany Sabourin. The Flyers were without defenseman Braydon Coburn, who missed a third consecutive game due a swollen left eye, the result of taking a puck to his head in Game 2. The Flyers other notable scratch was forward Steve Downie, who was replaced by forward Patrick Thoresen for a second consecutive game.See the full content of this document
