Scott Bricker is unrelenting in his mission. As executive director and one of the founders of BikePGH, the Lawrenceville- based bicycle advocacy group, Bricker constantly tries to improve the lot of two-wheeled travelers. Whether it is working with the city, the state's new Pennsylvania Bikes and Walks group, or planning events to spread awareness of cycling, Bricker wants everyone to know bicycling is more than a recreation; it is a form of transportation that is valid for commuting and running errands as well.
Bricker, 33, is a native of Chippewa, Beaver County, who graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 1999 with a degree in public policy and management and a focus on environmental issues.
