Pharmacy Firm Gets $40m Lift

Millennium Pharmacy Systems, Marshall, which provides medications to long-term care centers, said Tuesday it received $40 million from a group of venture capital firms, one of the largest investments locally in years.

The money will be used to continue the company's rapid growth, said CEO Gary Duty. The company serves more than 60 nursing homes in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
