Summary
- Pitt freshman quarterback Kolby Gray will undergo shoulder surgery early next week and take a medical redshirt. Gray, a 6-foot- 2, 185-pounder from Houston, felt pain in his right (throwing) shoulder after practice Tuesday. An MRI revealed a small tear. "Could we get through it? Yes," coach Dave Wannstedt said. "I think the smart thing to do is to get it taken care of right now."
Gray was rated the No. 29 dual-threat quarterback in the nation coming out of Cypress Falls High School.See the full content of this document
