Although Joyce Singh was highly regarded as a professor and psychotherapist who had met with such world-renowned notables as Mother Teresa, she considered herself a farm girl at heart.

"It really meant a lot to my mother to be able to breathe the farm smells when we would visit the family farm in Boonville, Mo.," said her son, Prem Singh, a GE executive from Jenkintown, Montgomery County.
