Pitt Women Climb to No. 22 in Coaches' Poll

Summary


The Pitt women moved up two places Tuesday to No. 22 in the ESPN/ USA Today coaches' poll a day after entering The Associated Press poll for the first time in 27 years at No. 24.

The Panthers (10-0) are off this week for exams and leave Sunday for the Caribbean Classic in Cancun, Mexico. Pitt plays East Carolina (3-5) on Tuesday and Liberty (5-3) on Wednesday in the tournament. Pitt also will play No. 4/4 Duke (9-0) in Mexico. That game is outside the tournament.
