Summary
Local, county and state police hope a motor vehicle safety seminar scheduled for Saturday will teach people how to tow vehicles and secure loads, and prevent accidents such as one last year when a wood chipper broke free and slammed into a minivan, killing two children and their father.
Landscapers, trucking companies and anyone who tows a boat, trailer or other vehicle is encouraged to attend the seminar, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the rear parking lot of Pittsburgh police headquarters, 1203 Western Ave., in the North Side.See the full content of this document
