INDIANAPOLIS -- Some guys have all the luck.

Indianapolis reliever Derek Hankins, who made his Triple-A debut Wednesday night, entered the Indians' game versus Syracuse with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning, a runner on third base and Indy up by two. Pitching on the day of his promotion from Double-A Altoona, the right-hander surrendered a two-run home run to the first batter he faced, squandering the lead. Hankins then induced the next batter to line out, ending the inning.
