Westmoreland County prosecutors told a jury Tuesday that a killing nearly two years ago on the railroad tracks in Manor was done in cold blood.

In his opening arguments to jurors, District Attorney John Peck said Jason Maple, 26, planned to execute a man he believed had ransacked his girlfriend's apartment and had threatened to rape her.
