NEW FLORENCE--For the second straight week, the Rams took advantage of a great start and came away with their seventh straight victory. LV scored two first-half TDs against Blairsville Saturday, and it proved to be the difference in a 12-6 victory.

The victory placed the Rams fifth in District 6-A, and they will face a very familiar foe in the first round of the playoffs. Page Bowl II will take place in New Florence at 2 p.m. tomorrow, when the Rams play host to the Homer-Center Wildcats for the second time in five weeks. The Rams also will welcome back former assistant coach Greg Page, who now is head coach of the Wildcats.
