Diana Ritz wants people in Jeannette to open their eyes and stop seeing yesterday, or what's left of it.

That's not so easy, some days. The time-worn hulks of the city's glass industry glory days reflect in the windows of shops along Clay Avenue, in the city's business district. Between the pearly white of businesses that continue to hold their own stand decaying structures, in some spots partnered with the raw sore of land parcels laid bare.
