Reserve Couple Accuse Fannie Mae of Fraud

An Allegheny County couple has filed a class action lawsuit accusing board members and top executives of secondary mortgage market giant Federal National Mortgage Association, or Fannie Mae, of defrauding thousands of investors during an 11-month period ending Wednesday.

The suit states that Grace and Leonard Jesteadt of Reserve on May 19, purchased 6,000 shares of Fannie Mae preferred stock for an aggregate price of $150,000. They could not be reached for comment.
