After 11 years on the bench, a state appellate court judge announced Monday she will retire and take a job with the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh.

Superior Court Judge Maureen Lally-Green, 59, of Cranberry will leave office July 31 to become director of the new Office for Church Relations. She will represent the diocese to civic, charitable, and community organizations throughout the region.
