BRADENTON, Fla. - The Pirates got a scare when Freddy Sanchez came up lame after a collision at second base during Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Sanchez sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee when his legs were cut out from under him by Rod Barajas, who was trying to break up a double play.
