Scammer Gets Up to 10 Years for Mt. Lebanon Area Cases

An Allegheny County judge sentenced a Lawrenceville contractor on Wednesday to three to 10 years in prison for his role in trying to scam elderly homeowners in the Mt. Lebanon area.

James Turowski, 42, pleaded guilty in March to seven counts of receiving advance payments for services and failing to perform and one count of theft. Common Pleas Judge John A. Zottola imposed the sentence.
