Summary
Almost everyone who has ever performed at the genre-breaking "Sound Kitchen" nights at the Quiet Storm will be gathering at Artists Image Resource on Forelande Avenue in the North Side, starting at noon on Saturday, and going until well past midnight. Proceeds will benefit several area anti-violence campaigns, including One Vision One Life, Teens Against Senseless Violence (TASK) and The League of Young Voters.
Bands include Adamo Drive, Chalk Outline Party, CK9 and the Old E Allstars, Formula412, Jazzam and Soma Mestizo. DJs like Bonics, Dan Dabber, J. Malls, SMI and Supa C will provide the beats for rappers Basick Sickness, Cynik Lethal, Jack Wilson, Button Pusha and many more. If acoustic sounds are more your thing, there's Cathasaigh, Jon Check, Paul Tabachneck, Tony Lee and others.
