Summary
TEMPLE OF DOOM: The Owls were a comedy of errors in the first half. A drive to the Penn State 7-yard line with the opening possession resulted in a missed field-goal attempt. Later, the Owls' Matt Balasavage dropped an apparent touchdown pass on a fake field goal, and the Owls also fumbled a double reverse attempt on a play that began at the Penn State 10. The net result was zero points despite 194 yards of total offense by halftime.
