Summary


Nearly 40 people arrested in the wild street celebrations that followed the Steelers' Super Bowl XLIII victory, mostly in Oakland, could have the charges reduced or withdrawn in a deal reached with prosecutors Monday.

During a hearing in Pittsburgh Municipal Court, 31 people agreed to each work 50 hours of community service in the next 90 days. In exchange, prosecutors would withdraw criminal charges of failure to disperse.
