Kilbuck supervisors have disbanded the township's police force.

Supervisors voted 2-1 last week to eliminate the department, which has two full-time and several part-time officers. State police will patrol the municipality of about 700, said Supervisor Russ Hardiman, who said he voted against the measure "on timing."
