Going to a mother-daughter tea may be all but extinct in modern culture, yet two Pittsburgh-area attractions are drawing a strong response from planning events that celebrate the Victorian custom.

On Sunday, the Frick Art & Historical Center, in Point Breeze, and the Sen. John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center, in the Strip District, are hosting Valentine's Day teas meant for girls and their mothers, grandmothers and other special women in their lives.
