Rejecting "card check": Four states -- Arizona, South Carolina, South Dakota and Utah -- rejected Big Labor's efforts to eliminate the secret ballot in union organizing efforts in last week's election, notes The Wall Street Journal. By large margins, voters banned the so-called "card check" provision, so loved, by the way, by U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy, U-Pa. ("U"? "Union," of course.) Still, one can only wonder how Mr. Murphy will vote if, as threatened, the lame- duck Democrat majority tries to bring such legislation to a vote in the House.See the full content of this document
