Theft of Student Funds in Crawford County Nets 1 Month in Jail

Summary


A former Conneaut Lake High School secretary will spend a month in jail, three more on house arrest and seven years on probation for stealing more than $34,000 in student activity funds.

Michelle Kightlinger, who pleaded guilty in August, told a judge at her sentencing hearing this week in Crawford County that she didn't remember taking the money and doesn't know what she spent it on.
