Pine-Richland senior forward Meghan Klingenberg has had nearly a month to reflect on the 2006 girls soccer season. She has concluded that, despite a season-ending upset loss to Mt. Lebanon in the opening round of the PIAA Class AAA playoffs, it was a success.

"It was really upsetting to our team that we lost in that game because we wanted to repeat at states," Klingenberg said. "It didn't happen that way, but we were unbeaten through the whole season up to that game and, after we got over the disappointment of losing, we realized that we did some incredible things."
