A Michigan woman is not the Butler County girl who disappeared after getting off a school bus near her home more than a quarter- century ago, state police in Butler said.
A tip led to an investigation that included interviews, photographs, records from the Michigan Department of Vital Statistics and cooperation from the Antrim County (Mich.) Sheriff's Office. It determined that the woman, who was not identified, is not Cherrie Ann Mahan, who disappeared at the age of 8 on Feb. 22, 1985, police said on Wednesday.See the full content of this document
