A Scott man accused of trying to punch the wife of Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Chris Snyder after a traffic incident in Banksville was ordered to stand trial following a preliminary hearing in Pittsburgh Municipal Court on Wednesday.

Subhash A. Modhwadia, 44, was ordered by District Judge Derwin Rushing to stand trial on charges including aggravated assault, simple assault and criminal mischief. He remains jailed pending bond.
