Trib's Merriman Again Is Photographer of Year

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review photographer Justin Merriman has been named Photographer of the Year for the second consecutive year by the News Photographers Association of Greater Pittsburgh.

Merriman won Best of Show for his photo story "An unfinished miracle," which chronicled the 50th anniversary of Dr. Jonas Salk's polio vaccine. He also captured first place in the general news and news picture story categories.
