Summary
The editorial "Pay for state police" (Aug. 10 and TribLIVE.com) implies that the residents of Hempfield Township are bilking the state for state police services. What the editorial fails to reveal, while all taxpaying Pennsylvanians pay for state police services, is exactly what our state tax dollars pay for with regard to state police services.
Also, are Hempfield and "20 other large jurisdictions" receiving more services than what other municipalities receive? If so, what are those extra services and why are they receiving them?See the full content of this document
