Rail products manufacturer Wabtec Corp. of Wilmerding said Wednesday it acquired Adantech Industria e Comercio de Metal, which will expand Wabtec's investment in Brazil's freight and passenger transportation network.
Adantech, with sales of about $2 million, manufactures brake shoes and pads for subway cars, locomotives and freight cars. Wabtec won't reveal how much it paid for Adantech in the deal that closed Dec. 31, spokesman Tim Wesley said.See the full content of this document
