A Carnegie bartender who was wanted on charges of selling painkillers in the tavern has surrendered, police Chief Jeffrey C. Harbin said Tuesday.

Mickel W. Ballard, 39, who worked in Tony's Cafe on West Main Street in Carnegie, is charged with selling oxycodone to undercover officers in the tavern on two occasions in September, Harbin said. Ballard surrendered to police Monday.
