Westinghouse Electric Co. said today it has reached a long-term agreement worth more than $400 million to provide nuclear fuel fabrication services for South Carolina Electric & Gas Co.'s V.C. Summer power plant.
Under the contract, Westinghouse will provide the fuel fabrication services for the existing reactor, as well as for two new Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear power plants that are in the early stages of construction.
