Summary


Unusual names have been a part of Southwestern Pennsylvania history, from Fishbasket Hill in Armstrong County south to Flatiron Building in Uniontown.

There was a Buckshot War. Much quieter than earlier years is Brimstone Corner in Connellsville. Blowtown was near Brookville. A part of Monongahela City was known as Catsburg for a unique reason.
