Woodland Hills School Board May Close Rankin Intermediate

Summary


The Woodland Hills school board is set to vote tonight on a proposal to close the aging Rankin Intermediate School.

A 2004 facility study found the fourth- through sixth-grade school, which has an enrollment of 204, to be in poor overall condition. School officials have said it would cost at least $16 million to improve Rankin Intermediate to excellent condition.
